Scholars Education Centre has been tutoring Peterborough since 2000! We are conveniently located in the south end of Peterborough in the historic DeLaval building at the corner of Park and Lansdowne, beside Staples.

All of our tutoring programs are delivered in a comfortable and relaxed environment by friendly teachers and with the support of our therapy dogs, Abbey Road and Ginger.

Scholars has been tutoring and helping students of all ages in Peterborough for more than 12 years. We have taught preschool children how to read; helped hundreds of elementary students with reading, writing and math; we have helped countless high school students reach their academic potential through tutoring in math, chemistry, calculus, biology, physics and English; we have also assisted many adult learners in furthering their careers with computer courses and academic upgrading.

Our learning centre is committed to enhancing programs that help children and adults with learning disabilities and we are a certified provider of the Fast ForWord® program.

Welcome to Move N’ Grooove! We are celebrating 20 years of dance, fun, laughter, friendships and memories that will be cherished forever. We thank all past and present clients for their ongoing support and we look forward to sharing this milestone with you!

Move N’ Grooove is a well established dance studio in Peterborough, opening its doors in 1993. We offer a variety of dance styles and welcome dancers age 2 years and older.

Our instructors are trained and experienced in each style of dance they teach and our warm, friendly, upbeat, yet down to earth approach makes every dancer feel welcome and part of a family. We take pride in what we teach at MNG. It’s not always about “the dance.” It’s about building confidence in these young dancers, guiding them to be kind, courteous, respectful, self disciplined, self motivated and to feel safe and secure in the environment we have created for them. We hope to provide them with tools to manage any challenge they meet.

Traditional dance training is what we take pride in and we recognize that quality training in a safe, fun, family setting is what has been drawing clients to us for 20 years, and we are proud of the solid reputation we have created.

“Be Warm! Be Welcome! Be at Home!

Minutes from the bustle of downtown Peterborough, awaits the opportunity for peaceful relaxation at Twin Pines Bed and Breakfast. We welcome you to share our home, enjoy our gardens and relax in the afternoon sun warm, or cold, shining through the sunroom windows, watch your favorite television show or one of the many movies in our collection. Both guest rooms on the main level have ensuites. The pine suite on the lower level has a sitting room kitchenette, and bath. Listen to the trickle of water in the pond as you relax in the garden, or warm your feet by a good old fashioned campfire, enjoy an evening board game or card game and then settle in for a good night’s sleep in your room. We serve a hot or cold continental style breakfast.

Twin Pines is located just minutes from The Peterborough Regional Health Centre and we welcome you to stay with us while your loved one is being treated there. The Kinsmen’s arena is in our backyard so this is ideal for those who are here with their families at one of the many scheduled sporting events.
